Welcome to my blog! I am an archivist/librarian, and also an artist and amateur musician. I’ll be posting some library related content here, amidst many random thoughts. I hope you enjoy the blog and please let me know what you think!
BTW, I took the photo for my banner at The White Memorial in Litchfield, CT. If you like it, you can view the full version on my flickr page.
Thank you for visiting!

Hi Deirdre. Thank you for your comment at my blog. I will come back and see yours, it seems to be interesting with nice photos. If you can write a little about wich area you are showing pictures from, it would be great.
I have made a ip-location like yours, I think it is fun to see where the spots turn up.

Hi, giiid, and thanks for your comment!
At the moment, most of my photos are either from the West of Ireland or from northwestern Connecticut, USA. The ones in the widget are quite random, but I plan on fixing that soon. I’m still very new to blogging!
You’re right about the map — it’s fascinating! I can’t believe how many people from all over the world have already looked at my blog!
Thanks again for writing, & have a good day,
~Deirdre

Hey Deirdre,
Thank for leaving me a comment on my blog! It is kind of weird for me to think that other people are actually looking at what I write or post. I really like what you have done with your blog by the way. The set up on the right looks so organized and professional.

Thank you so much, Jamie!
& I know exactly what you mean — it is REALLY public, & that’s strange.
But I do really appreciate your looking at what I’m doing, & I’m glad you like it.
Now I’m going to go to your blog & comment, in case you don’t see this. (I don’t know if people who write to me automatically see my replies?)

In wordpress, at “My account” you can look at “my comments”, and read all the answers to the comments you have written, – if you don´t have time to go to each blog to look.
Most bloggers write answers under the comments.
Are you living in USA or Ireland now?

Thank you, giiid!
That does make things much easier!
I’m living in the USA. My grandparents actually moved here when my mother was a little girl, but we are all dual citizens, and we love Ireland!

One more thing: You can make your blogname into a link by going to
-My account –
-edit profile –
and then write your blogname (all of it) at
-”website”-
-OK
I am sure you will get more visitors then.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. This day is not celebrated in Denmark (exept for those who has that tradition, of course) but right now, the radio sends some Irish folk music, because the DJ likes the saint Patrics day.Nice.
